Fajardo secures record 12th PBA BPC with dominant Finals performance

San Miguel's June Mar Fajardo secured his record-extending 12th PBA Best Player of the Conference (BPC) award for Season 49 prior to Game 4 of the Finals on Sunday at SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Fajardo earned the honor with a total of 1,085 points based on statistical performance and votes from media and players, far ahead of teammate CJ Perez who placed second with 704 points and NLEX's Robert Bolick in third with 562 points.

Despite dealing with a calf injury, Fajardo averaged an impressive 16.0 points, 13.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game during the season-ending conference, continuing his dominance through the Finals where he has averaged 25.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists.

His standout performance included a 33-point, 11-rebound outing in Game 3 at the Araneta Coliseum last Friday, which led San Miguel Beer back to the Finals stage.

Fajardo's BPC win puts him in strong contention for his third straight and ninth overall Most Valuable Player (MVP) award as San Miguel aims for a commanding lead over TNT in the championship series.
