PAGASA forecasts scattered rains in PH Thursday

PAGASA forecasts scattered rain showers in parts of the Philippines on Thursday due to a low-pressure area (LPA) and southwest monsoon affecting northern Luzon, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Oriental.

Strong winds and rough seas will affect northern and western sections of Northern Luzon, while moderate winds and seas will prevail in the rest of Luzon.

Tuesday's weather was warm and humid with scattered rain showers over Ilocos provinces, Batanes, and the Babuyan Islands due to southwest monsoon.

Isolated thunderstorms caused localized rain showers across the country on Tuesday and Monday, with fair weather prevailing elsewhere.
