Estrada: Mayor's partner manages illegal POGOs

Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada alleged on Wednesday that Mayor Alice Guo's live-in partner, a supposed Pangasinan government official, manages illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) in Bamban, Tarlac.

Estrada stated during Senate hearings that he received this information from a reliable source but declined to reveal the name of Guo's partner.

Mayor Guo denied any involvement or connection to POGO operations and insisted she is neither an operator nor protector of such entities.

Guo also expressed skepticism about Estrada’s claim, suggesting she has no romantic relationship with anyone linked to POGOs in Pangasinan.

Senator Raffy Tulfo added that Guo is being linked to an official from an executive department, further complicating the investigation into her alleged ties to illegal POGO activities.

Documents linking Mayor Guo to a raided 10-hectare compound of Zun Yuan Technology Incorporated in Bamban were revealed during subsequent investigations, which she has also denied.
