Gatchalian calls for Bamban Mayor Alice Guo's NPC expulsion over POGO links

Senator Sherwin Gatchalian is calling for Bamban Mayor Alice Guo to be expelled from the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC) due to alleged links with criminal activities involving Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs).

Guo joined NPC after winning her mayoral race as an independent candidate in 2022 and now serves on the party’s advisory council.

Gatchalian cited irregularities in Guo's birth certificate and connections to Hongsheng Gaming Technology Inc., which was raided by authorities in February 2023, and Zun Yuan Technology Incorporated, where documents linking her directly were found during a raid in March.

The senator also highlighted that three out of four incorporators of Baofu Land Development Inc. are involved in money laundering, making it difficult to believe Guo’s claim of ignorance regarding criminal activities.

Gatchalian believes expelling Guo is necessary to maintain the integrity and good moral conduct expected of NPC members, emphasizing her involvement with POGOs and irregular background.
