PNP: ECQ violators now at 87,494

As of April 6, the number of violators of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) has reached 87,494, according to PNP data.

Of these, 48,635 are from Luzon, 16,612 from Visayas, and 22,209 from Mindanao.

From March 17 to April 5, 21,996 were arrested (4,206 for inquest and 17,790 for regular filing), while 4,184 were fined and 61,314 received warnings.

Additionally, 647 individuals were arrested for hoarding and profiteering activities, and 7,719 public utility vehicles have been apprehended due to the ban on mass transport.
