Easterlies, local thunderstorms bring rain across country

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA forecasts moderate to strong wind speeds in extreme northern Luzon moving eastward, with coastal waters being moderate to rough there.

Elsewhere in the country, light to moderate winds from an east to northeast direction are expected, with slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
