Easterlies bring isolated rain showers, possible storms across PH

PAGASA warns that easterlies and northeast monsoon will bring isolated rain showers and possible severe thunderstorms across the Philippines this week.

Northern Luzon, including Batanes and Babuyan Islands, can expect cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Davao Region, Bohol, and Lanao del Sur will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

PAGASA warns of potential flash floods and landslides in vulnerable areas due to severe thunderstorms.

Extreme Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
