PAGASA warns Philippines of northeast monsoon, easterlies

PAGASA warns that parts of Extreme Northern Luzon are experiencing the Northeast Monsoon, leading to partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains in Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

The rest of the country is affected by Easterlies, resulting in partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon's northern section and eastern parts will have moderate to strong winds with rough seas, while other areas will see light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.

Aurora and Quezon can expect scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to easterlies, posing risks of flash floods or landslides.

Batanes and Cagayan are experiencing rains from the Northeast Monsoon, with isolated light rains expected in the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and rest of Cagayan Valley.
