EAC secures solo fourth, aims for historic Final Four

Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) secured solo fourth place in the NCAA Season 100 men's basketball tournament by defeating Letran Knights, 68-58, on Wednesday, improving their record to 7-7.

Coach Jerson Cabiltes emphasized that EAC will use its weeklong break to prepare intensively for their remaining four games, aiming for a historic first Final Four appearance since joining the league in 2009.

Harvey Pagsanjan led EAC with a double-double of 13 points and five assists while limiting Jimboy Estrada to just 10 points and Deo Cuajao to nine points, significantly impacting Letran's scoring capabilities.

EAC maintained its lead in the crucial third quarter and secured their victory in the final period, solidifying their position for a potential Final Four berth against strong contenders like San Beda Red Lions.

College of Saint Benilde (11-2) and Mapua University (11-3) currently hold the top two spots in the tournament.
