Galvez: No lifting of COVID-19 quarantine protocols for now

The National Task Force Against COVID-19 is not recommending the lifting of community quarantine protocols in any part of the country, according to its chief Carlito Galvez Jr.

Galvez emphasized that a cautious and gradual approach is necessary to prevent vigilance from lapsing in adjacent provinces.

President Rodrigo Duterte will announce the new quarantine classifications on Tuesday, as stated by presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.

The current classifications will expire on June 30, with only Cebu City under enhanced community quarantine and Talisay under modified ECQ, while the rest of the country is either under GCQ or MGCQ.

Malacañang urged the public to wait for official announcements and not believe false information circulating about quarantine measures.
