Duterte submits first coronavirus response report to Congress

President Rodrigo Duterte submitted his first report on government measures taken to respond to the coronavirus crisis to Congress on Monday night.

Senate President Vicente Sotto III said he received a full report from Duterte at 12:40 am Tuesday and found it precise and concise.

Duterte issued an order detailing the responsibilities of each department under the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act, which grants him additional powers to address the pandemic.
