Senators' staff test positive for COVID-19

Two individuals working in the Senate have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of infected senators' staff and colleagues to four.

Pia Cayetano's female consultant and Bong Revilla's male staff member are among those who tested positive.

Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri announced he would extend his self-quarantine period to 21 days despite feeling better, urging everyone to follow quarantine protocols.

Koko Pimentel also tested positive for the virus but breached home quarantine when he went to Makati Medical Center with his pregnant wife, potentially exposing medical staff to infection.
