Duterte signs PHP4.5T 2021 national budget

President Rodrigo Duterte signed the PHP4.5-trillion national budget into law on Monday, December 28.

The signing ceremony at Malacaōang Palace included several lawmakers and Cabinet officials who adhered to social distancing guidelines.

Duterte emphasized that every cent of the budget will be spent to ensure the nation's recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Key areas of focus include vaccine procurement, infrastructure development, and community rehabilitation following recent typhoons.
