Duterte criticizes Senate Blue Ribbon for politicking

President Rodrigo Duterte criticized the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee for conducting hearings on pandemic-related purchases with political motives.

Duterte accused the committee, led by Senator Richard Gordon, of being adversarial and not seeking truth.

He questioned how truth can emerge when the same person acts as both judge and prosecutor.

Duterte also expressed disappointment that some senators are trying to create public animosity towards him.
