VP Robredo camp urges gov't to listen to experts on COVID-19

Vice President Leni Robredo's camp called on the Duterte administration to listen to health experts and take action against the pandemic instead of waiting for a vaccine.

Robredo’s spokesperson Ibarra Gutierrez criticized presidential spokesperson Harry Roque for accusing Robredo of politicking when she highlighted the government's lack of comprehensive response to COVID-19.

Roque challenged Robredo to provide a solution to the pandemic without relying on vaccines or medicines, suggesting that if she could solve it, she should take over as president.

President Rodrigo Duterte lashed out at critics like Robredo, saying there are hospitals and quarantine facilities available, implying these measures are sufficient in addressing the crisis.
