Duterte memo on face shields due this week

President Duterte is expected to issue a memo on the use of face shields this week.

Until the memo's release, the current regulation mandating face shield usage outside homes remains in effect.

Health Undersecretary Leopoldo Vega previously stated that there is no need for outdoor face shield use when not in crowded areas with low COVID-19 risk.

Senate President Vicente Sotto III mentioned last week that Duterte agreed to mandate face shields only in hospitals.
