Duterte accepts Nayong Pilipino exec's resignation

President Rodrigo Duterte has accepted the resignation of Nayong Pilipino Foundation Executive Director Lucille Karen Malilong-Isberto, who had opposed the construction of a mega vaccination site within the foundation's property.

Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles confirmed that Isberto submitted her resignation and it was accepted by the President without any further explanation or inquiry.

Nograles assured that despite Isberto’s opposition, the project will proceed as it has been deemed appropriate and above board by relevant government agencies.
