DSWD readies relief goods for Super Typhoon Rolly

DSWD regional offices in Pampanga and Eastern Visayas have prepositioned relief goods for Super Typhoon Rolly and other typhoons.

In Pampanga, DSWD has readied 11,914 family packs and 1,699 non-food items.

Each food pack contains six kilos of rice, five sachets each of coffee and cereal drink, and assorted canned goods.

Eastern Visayas has prepositioned 17,131 family food packs and additional non-food items such as tube skirts, blankets, mosquito nets, kitchen sets, family kits, and sleeping kits.

A standby fund of PHP3 million is available for further relief material purchases if needed.
