DPWH starts EDSA northbound rehab from late Mar

Starting from late March 2025, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will commence major rehabilitation efforts on the northbound portion of EDSA in Monumento.

The DPWH-NCR plans to rehabilitate EDSA one lane at a time, beginning with the section from Quezon City/Caloocan boundary to Monumento, set to begin around March 24 and expected to last for approximately six months.

To minimize traffic disruption, rehabilitation will be conducted around-the-clock and involves reinforcing concrete and asphalt overlay using advanced technology.

The DPWH assures that the EDSA bus lane will remain operational but temporarily relocated on its adjacent lane during the repair period, with regular updates provided through official social media channels.

Work on the southbound lane is expected to start after necessary documents are finalized, with completion of the entire project anticipated in about one and a half years.
