DPWH: Agaton damage to infra hits P1.45B

The partial cost of damage to public infrastructure caused by Tropical Depression Agaton has reached P1.45 billion, according to the DPWH.

Damage estimates are at P1.30 billion in Region 8 (Eastern Visayas), P6.06 million in Region 12, and P145.4 million in Region 13.

Of the affected roads, 47 out of 50 have been cleared and reopened, with DPWH Quick Response Teams still working on three remaining closed sections in Leyte and Southern Leyte.
