29 Soccsksargen cops in Covid-19 quarantine

At least 29 police personnel in Region 12 (Soccsksargen) are currently under quarantine as patients under investigation (PUI) or persons under monitoring (PUM) for Covid-19.

One officer is classified as a PUI after showing symptoms following a trip to Metro Manila, while the other 28 are listed as PUMs and have not shown any signs of illness.

The 28 PUMs are under mandatory 14-day home quarantine with no symptoms so far.

Since March 23, local police units have denied entry to 4,484 vehicles and 5,922 individuals at border checkpoints and apprehended over a thousand curfew violators.
