DOST to set up 132 sample collection booths for COVID-19 testing

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) will establish around 132 sample collection booths nationwide to improve the country's testing capacity for COVID-19.

Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, spokesperson of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), said DOST regional offices will partner with DOH in setting up these specimen collecting booths.

The initial distribution includes 34 booths in NCR and varying numbers across other regions.
