DOH sets special vax days in Vis-Min, BARMM

The Department of Health sets another round of special vaccination days in April and May to boost inoculation coverage in regions with low rates.

BARMM, which has only covered 28% of its target population as of April 10, will see social mobilization activities about COVID-19 vaccines.

Special vaccination days are scheduled for Soccsksargen, Negros Oriental, and Negros Occidental from April 20 to 22; Marawi City on May 5 to 7; Lamitan City and Sulu on May 11 to 13; Basilan on May 11 to 13 and May 16 to 18; Lanao del Sur from May 16 to 20; Maguindanao on May 17 to 19; Tawi-Tawi from May 18 to 20; Palawan from April 25 to 26.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire reminded Muslim communities that vaccination is not prohibited during Ramadan, according to the Office of the Bangsamoro Mufti.
