DOH: Second COVID-19 booster rollout for vulnerable groups begins soon

The rollout of a second COVID-19 booster shot for senior citizens, immunocompromised individuals, and healthcare workers will begin soon.

The FDA has granted emergency use authorization (EUA) for the second booster dose, which can be administered at least four months after the first booster.

For moderately to severely immunocompromised patients, a second booster may be given earlier based on their doctor's assessment.
