DOH reports 6,297 new COVID-19 cases from March 1–7

The Philippines reported 6,297 new COVID-19 cases from March 1 to 7, 2022, as the DOH shifted to a weekly bulletin.

The daily average of cases is at 899, which is lower by 30% compared to the previous week.

There are currently 48,793 active cases with an ICU utilization rate of 25.7%, and non-ICU beds have a utilization rate of 18.4%. Only three or 0.05% of new cases this week are severe or critical.

Over 63.6 million individuals or 70.76% of the government’s target population are fully vaccinated, while 10.5 million have received their booster shots.
