Luzon provinces and cities now 'very low risk' for COVID-19

Several provinces and cities in Luzon are now classified as 'very low risk' for COVID-19 according to OCTA Research.

As of March 6, Aurora, Bulacan, Laguna, Pampanga, Quezon, Rizal, Zambales, Angeles, Dagupan, Lucena, and Olongapo have negative growth rates in new infections ranging from -20% to -62%, with reproduction numbers between 0.14 and 0.55.

The healthcare utilization rate (HCUR) for these areas ranges from 0% to 30%, while the intensive care unit utilization rate (ICUR) is below 27%. Positivity rates are also low, ranging from 2% to 3%.
