DOH reports 193 new COVID-19 cases, active tally at 9,287

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 193 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing the total active cases to 9,287.

This marks an increase from Thursday's tally of 9,231 and includes recoveries and deaths; the recovery count is now at 4,003,117 with a death toll of 66,256.

The National Capital Region (NCR) continues to report the highest number of cases over the past two weeks, followed by Davao Region, Calabarzon, Soccsksargen, and Northern Mindanao.

As of Wednesday, the national bed occupancy rate was 16.3%, with 4,035 beds occupied out of a total of 24,813 available beds.
