DOH: PH Covid-19 recoveries reach 2.7M

The Philippines' total number of recovered coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases reached 2,740,426 on November 13 after an additional 1,696 recoveries were reported.

This brings the recovery rate to 97.3% of the total case count of 2,815,080 since the start of the pandemic last year.

The Department of Health (DOH) also recorded 1,997 new cases on Saturday, increasing active cases to 29,382 and reporting 238 new deaths, raising the overall death toll to 45,272.

On November 11, an additional 2,388 recoveries were reported, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 2,737,722 with a recovery rate of 97.4%.

Active cases on Thursday stood at 28,660 after 1,974 new infections were recorded and 142 deaths were added to the overall death toll of 44,866.
