DOH: NCR may be deescalated to Alert Level 1 by December

The National Capital Region (NCR) may likely be deescalated to Alert Level 1 by December if it can sustain its low-risk classification for a month and vaccinate 70 percent of its vulnerable population.

As of November 8-14, NCR's average daily cases are on a plateau at 435 cases with an attack rate of 6.24 and a two-week growth rate of -52 percent.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said that for deescalation to Alert Level 1, NCR must sustain its low-risk classification for two incubation periods and have sufficient vaccine coverage.
