DOH logs 676 new COVID-19 cases; lowest in 37 days

The Philippines logged 676 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, June 6, bringing the total nationwide caseload to 4,050,181.

This marks the lowest number of daily cases in 37 days and the fifth consecutive day of decreasing infections.

NCR had the highest number of new cases over the past two weeks with 5,629, followed by Calabarzon with 3,926.

Quezon City recorded the most new cases among cities and provinces with 1,5408, followed by Cavite with 1,323, Bulacan with 896, Iloilo with 872, and Rizal with 871.

The death toll increased by five to 66,481.
