DOH logs 4,281 COVID-19 cases, lowest in seven weeks

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 4,281 new COVID-19 cases from June 12 to June 18, marking a 35% decrease compared to the previous week's 6,630 cases.

This is the lowest number of weekly cases in seven weeks and the 14th consecutive week with over 1,000 cases.

The daily average was 612 new infections, while only one death was recorded during this period.

Of the total cases, 57 were classified as severe or critical, representing a 9% decrease from the previous week.
