DOH logs 403 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health logged 403 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the total number of infections to 4,168,009.

Active cases increased by 53 to 6,606, marking the ninth straight day with more than 6,000 active cases.

Total recoveries rose by 350 to 4,094,919 while recorded deaths remained unchanged at 66,484 for the eleventh consecutive day.

Metro Manila had the most new cases in the last two weeks with 1,128, followed by Central Luzon and Calabarzon.

Quezon City reported the highest number of new cases among cities and provinces with 287, followed by Cavite province, Iloilo province, Bulacan province, and Cagayan province.
