DOH logs 142 new COVID-19 cases, active tally at 9,355

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 142 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, March 3, increasing the active tally to 9,355.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 4,076,704 with recoveries at 4,001,216 and deaths at 66,133.

The National Capital Region recorded the highest number of new infections over the past two weeks, followed by Davao Region, Calabarzon, Soccsksargen, and Caraga.

As of Thursday, March 2, bed occupancy in hospitals increased to 16.6%, with at least 4,113 beds occupied out of a total of 25,079 available beds.
