DOH: COVID-19 cases remain manageable

DOH officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire said on Tuesday that recent COVID-19 cases in the Philippines remain manageable with an average of 133 daily cases.

Vergeire noted there has been no significant increase in infections and emphasized that while Metro Manila's cases are low, Mandaluyong City is being closely monitored due to its limited ICU capacity.

The DOH stressed that hospitals can currently manage the cases but are vigilant about potential spikes.
