DOH logs 1,071 new COVID-19 cases; active tally rises to 19,940

The Philippines reported an additional 1,071 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, November 15, increasing the total active cases to 19,940.

This brings the national caseload to 4,020,240 with 3,935,880 recoveries and 64,420 deaths.

The number of new infections is slightly lower than the average daily infections recorded from November 7 to 13 at 1,296.

Metro Manila continues to lead in cases over the past two weeks with 2,876 cases, followed by Calabarzon with 1,736 and Western Visayas with 1,421.

Quezon City recorded the highest number of infections on Tuesday with 657 cases, followed by Cavite with 603 and Davao del Sur with 602.
