DOH: Less than 1% of vaccine recipients report serious side effects

Less than 1% of the over 4 million people vaccinated against COVID-19 in the Philippines have reported serious side effects.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire stated that only 0.012% of reported side effects were serious, while 1.10% were non-serious.

The National Adverse Events Following Immunization Committee has not found evidence linking these rare serious events to the vaccines.
