Gov't to issue COVID-19 vaccine passports

The Philippine government plans to issue a COVID-19 vaccine passport to those who receive the vaccine.

Malacañang supports the use of the vaccine passport as proof that a traveler has been vaccinated against the virus, which would facilitate travel and mobility.

DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said the government will provide a QR code-based vaccination certificate for each recipient, serving as proof of inoculation.
