DOH evacuates over 200 COVID patients, staff to hotels due to Ulysses

The Department of Health evacuated over 200 COVID-19 patients and staff from flood-prone Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities (TTMFs) in Luzon to various hotels due to Typhoon Ulysses.

Patients and staff were transferred from TTMFs such as Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Philippine Arena, and Philippine International Convention Center to Nice Hotels in Mandaluyong, Arayat, McArthur, and North EDSA.

The DOH also reported that health departments in affected areas have prepositioned PHP26.85 million worth of medical supplies and personal protective equipment.
