DOH: 48.5% PH hospitals log zero new COVID-19 admissions Dec. 5-9

Around 48.5 percent of hospitals nationwide reported no new COVID-19 admissions from December 5 to 9.

Region XII led with zero COVID-19 admissions in 75.4% of its hospitals, followed by the Bangsamoro Region and Region X.

National admissions have been declining steadily, currently at low-risk utilization at 20%, while ICU admissions are also decreasing, now at 25%.

The DOH reported an average daily case decrease of 180 cases or 27% this week compared to the previous week.
