Philippines set to receive 3.2M single-dose J&J vaccines

The Philippines is set to receive over 3 million single-dose Johnson & Johnson (J&J) COVID-19 vaccine jabs by July 19, donated by the US through COVAX.

These vaccines are earmarked for senior citizens and those in far-flung areas.

Health officials aim to fully vaccinate 7 million people by the end of July, with 3 million using J&J doses.

The government also plans to complete second doses for healthcare workers at least 90% by the same month.
