DOH-12 targets wider vax coverage for general population

The DOH-12 is targeting wider vaccine coverage among the general adult population in Soccsksargen Region.

Vaccination activities have rolled out in rural health units for adults not included in priority groups A1 to A5.

As of Monday, some 760 individuals had received their first dose and four were fully vaccinated.

RHUs are using various vaccines including Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Janssen, Moderna, and Pfizer based on available supplies.

The DOH-12 expects vaccination coverage to increase as more eligible adults get vaccinated.
