DILG issues show cause orders to more mayors for jumping COVID-19 vaccine line

The DILG will issue show cause orders to seven mayors and one councilor for receiving COVID-19 vaccines ahead of priority groups.

On Wednesday, five mayors were already given show cause orders for cutting the vaccination line.

These officials include Alfred Romualdez of Tacloban, Dibu Tuan of T'boli, Sulpicio Villalobos of Sto Niño, Noel Rosal of Legazpi, and Abraham Ibba of Bataraza.

Romualdez claimed he got vaccinated to boost public confidence in the vaccine, while Rosal said a DOH official suggested he be inoculated for the same reason.
