DILG mourns Bulacan rescuers who died in Karding

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) mourned the death of five rescuers from Bulacan who died during rescue operations amid Super Typhoon Karding.

Interior Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. expressed condolences to the families of Narciso Calayag, Jerson Resurreccion, Marvy Bartolome, George Agustin, and Troy Justin Agustin, calling them brave heroes.

Abalos also gave the rescuers a 'snappy salute' for their dedication to public service during the storm.
