Diaz positive after fourth-place finish at Asian Games

Hidilyn Diaz-Naranjo remains positive despite finishing fourth at the Asian Games in the women's 59kg category on October 2.

Diaz, who recently switched from the 55kg class where she won Olympic gold, lifted a total of 233 kg but fell short of the bronze medal by four kilograms.

Despite missing the podium, Diaz expressed satisfaction with her performance and preparation, noting that Paris 2024 remains her primary goal.

North Korea's Kim Il-gyong dominated the competition with world-record lifts, totaling 247 kg.
