PH logs 18 more Covid recoveries, new cases rise

The Philippines reported 18 new recoveries from COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing total recoveries to 475,423 or 92.1% of all cases.

New infections increased by 1,173 with active cases now at 30,357 (5.9%) and deaths rising by 94 to a total of 10,386.

Cebu City had the most new cases with 84 followed by Davao City with 67.

The DFA reported 49 more Filipinos overseas infected with COVID-19 on Monday, raising the total tally to 13,828 and recoveries to 8,828.

Filipino fatalities abroad remained at 945.
