Filipinos abroad with COVID-19 now at 10,864 — DFA

As of Friday, October 9, the number of Filipinos abroad who have tested positive for COVID-19 increased to 10,864 with three new cases reported by the DFA.

Four more recoveries were recorded, bringing the total number of recovered overseas Filipinos to 6,919, while the death toll remained at 800.

The Asia and Pacific region has seen a total of 1,711 cases, including 498 patients still receiving treatment. The region also reports 1,204 recoveries and nine fatalities.
