BARMM monitors Lanao Sur's rising Covid-19 cases

The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is closely monitoring Lanao del Sur due to 17 new Covid-19 cases reported on October 6.

Lanao del Sur, the only BARMM province reporting new cases recently, has been under modified enhanced community quarantine since October 1.

As of October 4, seven more patients in BARMM have recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total recoveries to 900 or about 75% of cumulative cases.

The region currently has 262 active cases and 46 deaths, with Lanao del Sur having the highest number of active cases at 164.
