PNP reports new cases, recoveries; PNPA clears COVID infections

As of October 7, the Philippine National Police (PNP) recorded 32 new coronavirus cases among its ranks, bringing the total active cases to 969.

The PNP also reported 121 recoveries, increasing the total number of recovered cases to 5,240.

On October 6, the PNP reported 55 new cases and 31 recoveries, reducing the active case count to 1,079.

As of October 4, all 236 cadets and 13 staff at the Philippine National Police Academy who tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered, according to PNPA Director Police Major General Gilbert Cruz.
