Philippine COVID-19 cases abroad rise to 11,674

As of Sunday, December 6, the number of overseas Filipinos infected with COVID-19 increased to 11,674 after three new cases were reported.

The recovery rate stands at 7,565 while 846 have died from the illness.

Currently, 3,263 patients are receiving treatment.

The Middle East/Africa region has the highest number of overseas Filipino COVID-19 cases with 7,544, followed by Europe (1,414), Asia Pacific (1,947), and Americas (769).

Since November 28, there have been 67 recoveries, bringing the total to 7,564.

The DFA has repatriated 9,981 overseas Filipinos due to the pandemic this month.
