Derla wins PH second SEA Games gold in kun bokator

Angel Derla won the Philippines' second gold medal at the SEA Games in Cambodia on Thursday, May 4.

Derla triumphed in the women's single bamboo shield form of kun bokator with a score of 8.5 points, beating home favorite Chanchhorvy Puth who secured silver.

Indonesia's Deslya Anggraini took bronze with 8.42 points.

Earlier, Kaila Napolis won the first gold for the Philippines in jiu-jitsu.

Mark James Lacao and Rhichain Yosorez also earned silvers for the country in other kun bokator events.
